Because Cyprus receives so many tourists every year people in the touristy area of Cyprus may expect a tip. It's usually good tipping etiquette to leave a 10 to 15% gratuity, but it depends on the service and how good it was. The tipping guide below explains more

In Cyprus, if you are a guest at a spa, it's good tipping etiquette to tip at least 10%.  Check your bill to see if a gratuity is already included and ask if that will go to the staff or owner (usually it's the owner).  Of course, you can always tip based on how satisfied you are with the service you received and adding a few extra coins are always appreciated.

Most hotels in Cyprus already include a serve charge of about 10% - 15%. But this will usually go to the owner of the establishment. If you want to tip helpful staff members a little extra, that is always appreciated, but you are not obligated to do so.  You can provide porters with a small tip of about a few Euros ($1 - $2 USD) for help handling your luggage. Housekeeping won't expect a tip, but a if you do decide to tip small tip of between $2 - $4 USD is reasonable.

If it does, you should still consider tipping. While you are not expected to leave anything extra, if you feel that you would like to tip a little more for great service, 2 - 3 Euros is a reasonable amount. Staff should always be attentive and respectful to customers.  You are also not expected to leave a tip in bars and cafés.
